Your Street Will Be Closing For Scheduled Maintenance
See The Map Below For Details On The Closures
The 3400 block of UNIVERSITY BLVD has been removed from the project for this year. Your street will remain open.
WHY ARE MY ROADS CLOSING?
Holbrook Asphalt will be performing street maintenance in your area on behalf of the City of University Park. The product being applied is a High Density Mineral Bond called HA5. The treatment will help significantly extend the life of the streets. The benefits of properly maintained streets include higher property values, a smoother/safer ride, and reduced costs to the community by prolonging the need for replacement.

This project is scheduled to take place from September 3rd to September 18th, weather permitting. Use the map above to see which days work will be performed on your streets.
Work will commence from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Streets will be closed during these hours and reopen in the evening.
NO STREET PARKING THE DAY OF WORK.
Cars left on the street during the work hours will be towed at the owner’s expense. Please also avoid parking within 50 feet of active work zones.
WHAT IF I DRIVE ON THE ROAD WHILE CLOSED?
Driving on freshly treated pavement can damage both your vehicle and the new surface. Any repairs needed as a result will be the driver’s responsibility. Emergency vehicles will always be allowed through.
TURN OFF SPRINKLERS AND OUTDOOR WATER USE:
Pleases turn off your sprinklers and discontinue outdoor water use 24 hours before, during, and 24 hours after the closure. Water can ruin the treatment and could result in repair costs at the resident’s expense.
WEATHER CANCELLATION PROCEDURES:
If your street is canceled due to weather, THAT DAY will be rescheduled. All other days will proceed as scheduled. You will receive notification of your new closure date prior to the newly rescheduled date. You will not receive a cancellation notice (if we have removed the barricades, you can bring your cars back in), and you will not receive immediate notice of your new date. If you require earlier notification of your rescheduled closure date, please call the number, and we will be happy to let you know of any approved dates.
