We will be protecting your roads with HA5 High Density Mineral Bond, the surface treatment most sought after by residents nationwide. HA5 will provide you with many years of uninterrupted asphalt service life, along with a smooth surface finish and a deep black color that will protect property values.
In order to help the process go smoothly we wanted to give you a little information on what to expect. During this process we will need to close areas of the parking lot overnight to give the product sufficient time to cure.
PLEASE NOTE: On Tuesday September 22nd, we will be repairing cracks in the parking lot in preparation for the surface treament. The lot will remain open for this process. Please use caution while our crews work to complete this first phase.
**The map below shows the closure schedule for the parking lot. These areas will be completely closed on their scheduled date for the surface treatment. Please park outside of the closure areas on the assigned closure days.**
Frequently Asked Questions
WHY IS THE LOT CLOSING?
The Club Ridges Parking Lot is having a pavement preservation treatment installed that will help significantly extend the life of the asphalt. The benefits include higher property values, a smoother/safer ride, and reduced costs to the community by prolonging the need for replacement.
WHAT IF MY CAR IS PARKED IN THE LOT WHEN IT IS CLOSED?
Work will commence at 7:00 AM and the areas being treated will be closed for 24 hours. A tow truck will be called for any cars parked in the areas scheduled to be treated that day. Please do not park within 50 feet of any area being worked on. Towing expenses will be the owner’s responsibility.
WHAT IF I DRIVE INTO THE LOT WHILE IT IS CLOSED?
You will be liable for damage to your vehicle and to repair the area of road you have driven on. Minimum repair cost is $750 to repair the installed surface treatment. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, emergency vehicles will not be stopped from driving on the treated surface.
IF WEATHER CAUSES A HALT TO THE PROJECT, THE PARKING LOT MAY BE REQUIRED TO BE CLOSED ANOTHER DAY. IF THIS HAPPENS, YOU WILL RECEIVE ANOTHER NOTIFICATION ONCE A DATE HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR THE RESCHEDULE.
NOTE: Weather cancellations will be made on the scheduled project day. You will not receive a cancellation notice, but if the barricades are down AFTER 7 am, you may travel in that area. You will receive an additional notice prior to the new schedule date.
On some occasions, cancellations occur after work has begun. In this case, the crews may leave the property, but the cones will still be in place, as anything that has been applied to the street will need to dry before we can allow vehicles to return. In some cases, this is still an overnight closure. If the barricades are gone, you may drive on the road.
HOW WILL THIS AFFECT EMERGENCY VEHICLES?
Emergency vehicles will be able to access any area 24 hours a day.
Tips to Help You Through The Process
Please pay particular attention to the construction vehicles and workers on your streets. Project areas will be completely closed. Review the closures on your map so that you can design alternate routes during the project.
If the weather is such that there is a chance of rain, or there is too much moisture as a result of previous rain, we will not apply the material and will have to reschedule the application.
We understand that this is an inconvenience for most of you. We apologize for this inconvenience and we thank you for your cooperation as we work to improve your roadways. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions.
