Wigwam Ranch Square
Asphalt Preservation

We will be protecting your roads with HA5 High Density Mineral Bond, the surface treatment most sought after by residents nationwide. HA5 will provide you with many years of uninterrupted asphalt service life, along with a smooth surface finish and a deep black color that will protect property values.

In order to help the process go smoothly we wanted to give you a little information on what to expect. During this process we will need to close your road overnight to give the product sufficient time to cure.

** See map for your street’s specific day of closure **

Here is the map for your community:

Note: Unforseen events may cause schedules to change and maps may be updated. The notification(s) you get on your door will be the most up-to-date. Always defer to those hand delivered notifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHY IS MY ROAD CLOSING?

Roads in your subdivision are having a pavement preservation treatment installed that will help significantly extend the life of asphalt streets. The benefits of properly maintained streets include higher property values, a smoother/safer ride, and reduced costs to the community by prolonging the need for replacement.

WHAT IF MY CAR IS PARKED ON A ROAD THAT IS CLOSED?

Work will commence at 7:00 AM and the streets being treated will be closed for 24-36 hours. A tow truck will be called for any cars parked on the streets scheduled to be treated that day. Please do not park within 50 feet of any street being worked on.  Towing expenses will be the owner’s responsibility.

WHAT IF I DRIVE ON THE ROAD WHILE CLOSED?

You will be liable for damage to your vehicle and to repair the area of road you have driven on. Minimum repair cost is $750 to repair the installed surface treatment. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, emergency vehicles will not be stopped from driving on the treated surface.

ALL OUTSIDE WATER MUST BE TURNED OFF

Water may damage the installation of the surface treatment. Please do not have sprinklers, hoses, etc… set to come on 24 hours before the road closure, during the road closure, or 24 hours after the road closure. If your HOA is responsible for your landscaping water, they will make sure that it is off.  Damage due to outdoor water use will result in the same repair cost of $750 minimum to repair the installed surface treatment.

IF WEATHER CAUSES A HALT TO THE PROJECT, YOUR STREET MAY BE REQUIRED TO BE CLOSED ANOTHER DAY. IF THIS HAPPENS, YOU WILL RECEIVE ANOTHER NOTIFICATION ONCE A DATE HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR THE RESCHEDULE.

NOTE: Weather cancellations will be made on the scheduled project day. You will not receive a cancellation notice, but if the barricades are down AFTER 7 am, you may travel on the street. You will receive an additional notice prior to your new schedule date.

On some occasions, cancellations occur after work has begun. In this case, the crews may leave the property, but the cones will still be in place, as anything that has been applied to the street will need to dry before we can allow vehicles to return. In some cases, this is still an overnight closure. If the barricades are gone, you may drive on the road.

WHAT WILL WE DO ON TRASH DAY?

Your trash will be picked up as scheduled. You can put your cans out the night prior to your pickup.

HOW WILL WE GET OUR MAIL, FEDEX AND UPS PACKAGES?

The postal service is made aware of the road closures. You will need to contact the office that delivers your mail to find out if they plan to walk your mail in to you or not. FedEx and UPS (and others of this kind) will have to walk deliveries in to residents. The complex nature of these services hinders our ability to notify them of the closures.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT ANY LANDSCAPING WORK?

Please hold off on any landscape work while road work is being performed and turn off sprinkler systems during and 24 hours after the road is treated.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT EMERGENCY VEHICLES?

Emergency vehicles will be able to access any home in the neighborhood 24 hours a day.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY ROAD WILL BE CLOSED?

We will notify you in advance of your street closure. A paper notice will be delivered to your garage door OR front door.

Tips to Help You Through The Process

Please pay particular attention to the construction vehicles and workers on your streets. Project Streets will be completely closed.  Review the closures on your map so that you can design alternate routes during the project.

We ask that you SHUT OFF ALL OUTSIDE WATER Two (2) Days prior to the scheduled date, including garden hoses & SPRINKLERS.  If any sprinklers are on during this time, the Home Owner will be responsible for any additional costs.

If the weather is such that there is a chance of rain, or there is too much moisture as a result of previous rain, we will not apply the material and will have to reschedule the application.

We understand that this is an inconvenience for most of you.  We apologize for this inconvenience and we thank you for your cooperation as we work to improve your roadways.  Please feel free to call us if you have any questions. See the paper notice or the specific web page dedicated to your community’s project.
